ENVE's Road Fork is the fork by which all others are judged, built for road cyclists looking for the optimal balance of weight, strength, and stiffness. The new cartridge design with spring-backed IFP fully seals damper oil for the most consistent damping on long demanding DH runs. Spring-backed IFP has improved performance during extreme riding, unlike a bladder an IFP pressurizes the oil at the initial stroke eliminating any cavitation for the most consistent damping. - Fits both 29" and 27.5" wheels. Markings on the outer legs indicate the proper clamping point for the ideal axle to crown measurements depending on wheel size. The fork legs can be used with both wheel sizes. - Two Crown Options are available with this fork. The 47 offset is designed to work with 27.5" wheels and intended axle to crown. The 57 offset crown is designed for 29" wheels and axle to crown. This beaut here was designed alongside our Midnight Special Frame. In an effort to shed a few grams (it's for a road bike after all), we opted to utilize a unicrown design rather than a lugged one. In addition to the weight savings, it also looks really nice—don't you think? Now, we don't throw the phrase "future-proof" around lightly, so we won't use it here either. What we will say is that, like the Midnight Special Frame, this fork is equipped with modern road standards like flat mount disc brakes and a 100mm x 12mm thru-axle. New travel spacers account for negative air volume change, so the 110mm fork has the same initial stroke feel as the 150mm. - Dorado Air spring systems contain a unique balancing valve that equalizes the positive and negative air chambers during the air fill process. This gives the spring rate a consistent feel without any flat or dead spots in the stroke, along with giving riders of different weights the same initial stroke feel. Dorado Air is our lightest-weight air spring technology. - Infinite Rate TuneTM (IRT) allows for advanced spring tuning by independently adjusting air pressures in the beginning and end stroke. Having non-adjustable HBO eases setup for the user. - TSR (Trail Side Relief) casting bleed screws allow users to release casting pressure from the fork. Releasing casting pressure can improve overall fork feel and small bump compliance.
